This Cookie Policy explains how SoSaras (sosaras.com) uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way. They help a website work properly, remember your choices and understand how it is used.
How we use cookies
Essential cookies
These are needed for the shop to work. They keep items in your cart, remember your progress through checkout, keep you signed in to your account, and help protect the site. Our shop runs on WordPress and WooCommerce, which set these cookies. The site cannot work properly without them.
Preference storage
We store some small choices in your browser, for example the paintings you mark as favourites and whether you have already seen the chat greeting. This information stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
Statistics
We use Jetpack Stats, a service from WordPress.com (Automattic), to count visits and see which pages are popular. This helps us improve the site.
Order source
WooCommerce records how a visitor arrived at our shop, for example from a search engine or a social media link, and links this to an order. This helps us understand which channels bring customers.
Chat and communication tools
Our site includes a live chat tool (3CX Live Chat) and an email marketing tool (Klaviyo). These services may set cookies when they are active, for example to keep a chat conversation open or to recognise a newsletter subscriber.
Fonts
Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts. When this happens, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Google Fonts does not use cookies on our site for this.
Links to WhatsApp and social media
Our WhatsApp buttons and social media icons are simple links. WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube do not set cookies through our pages until you click a link and open their service. Once you do, their own cookie and privacy policies apply.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close the browser. If you block essential cookies, your cart, checkout and account may not work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change the tools we use. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
